Tompkins State Bank Upgrading to EZswitch® G4

The upgrade from EZswitch® Plus to EZswitch® G4 enables the bank to enhance their cardholder’s experience by taking advantage of the latest features and enhancements to EZswitch software, including G4 web-based apps advanced card maintenance, transaction research and reporting, and real-time system wide monitoring tools. The new system will allow TSB utilization of the latest Shazam Batch Plastics 78E file.

Included in the upgrade is CSFi’s Sentinel™ alert notification system. Sentinel provides unattended monitoring of the core system interface, EFT network connection(s) and much more. Automated alerts can be sent by email or SMS-text to pre-defined staff or third party service agents at pre-defined times depending on the nature and type of problem detected. The alerts are escalated until the problem is resolved, improving authorization interface up-time, reducing downtime penalties and results in improved customer service.

The upgrade demonstrates the bank’s commitment to couple the most advanced technology available with personalized customer service to meet evolving banking needs.

EZswitch® G4 incorporates many additional new features and options reducing fraud losses and streamlining management of debit card operations. The base system provides standard functions including online ATM/debit issuer authorizations, real-time online card maintenance (OLCM) updates, single point of card maintenance entry, stand-in authorization using a positive balance file (in addition to using card limits), as well as:

  • G4 Web-based Apps
  • Advanced “drill down” transaction and cardholder research and reporting
  • Automated job/task schedule management
  • ATM inactivity status updates
  • System health check monitoring including all connections and database status
  • On-demand network denial rules
  • Reconciliation subsystem
  • Audits and logs of all user activity
  • Ability to activate EMV functionality
  • Upgrades to the latest version of Red Hat and IBM Informix
  • Support for Virtualization (VMware) and more

G4 Web-based apps will provide the bank with powerful front-end tools for managing their new system.
