ATM/Debit On-line Authorization Issuer System for Core Systems
Debit card transaction volumes are poised to surpass credit card transactions
making the need to access on-line balances extremely important to reduce a
financial institution's exposure to fraudulent activity and overdrawn accounts.
This processing environment consists of a u/SWITCHWARE issuer system that
provides connectivity to an ATM/Debit transaction acquirer (i.e., network) and

Middleware System
Situated between a core banking system and a front-end delivery system,
u/SWITCHWARE can be used to interface the two systems when a common interface
cannot otherwise be achieved. u/SWITCHWARE receives the incoming message, logs
it and converts the incoming message format to a message format supported by the
backend system.

Customized Payment Processing
u/SWITCHWARE can also be used to meet the needs of business who have
special payment application needs. As an example, u/SWITCHWARE has become a
popularly used payment processing application for scrap collection yards who
desired to automate their scrap delivery and payment procedures. This special
implementation provides cash payments from ATMs eliminating the need for a
secure cashier's window. Payments and the corresponding scrap purchases can be
matched promptly.
