Transaction Authorization Replay System

It's a test and benchmark utility for applications that use u/VOLTDS as its transaction processing subsystem. u/START uses the data capture files archived by u/VOLTDS as the source of its replay messages. Transactions from the data capture are saved to a database where they can be edited and replayed through another release of software.

With the ability to capture live transaction data from a production release of u/SWITCHWARE, u/START provides many business benefits.

Live transaction data captured from a production release of software can be replayed through a pre-production software release. This provides the end user with an additional layer of protection that any customization carried over from the previous software release is processed correctly by the pre-production software release before live operations.

The u/START replay tool also serves as a benchmark utility providing the capability to inject live transactional data into a variety of transaction processing environments. Transaction throughput rates can be determined and hardware configurations can be changed before going into a production environment.
