Midland National Bank Live with EZswitch® G4

mnb_bankNewton, KS: Taking advantage of the latest enhancements to CSFi’s EZswitch® software including G4 Web-based apps, Midland National Bank (MNB) has upgraded their EZswitch® Plus system to EZswitch® G4 as the online interface connecting their Fiserv Precision core banking system to the Fiserv EFT network.

The new installation ensures that the bank and its cardholders are relying on the most secure and scalable end-to-end debit card management solution available.

With the upgrade, the bank benefits from the new system’s integrated support for future activation of EMV functionality as well as a wide range of proprietary features and capabilities globally proven to lower costs, boost revenues, and improve operational efficiency.

Installed on a VMware platform, the upgrade includes implementation of CSFi’s Sentinel™ Alert Notification System facilitating unattended monitoring of the core system interface, EFT network connection(s) and much more. Automated alerts can now be sent by email, cell phone, or SMS text to predefined staff or third party service agents at predefined times depending on the nature and type of problem detected. The alerts are escalated until the problem is resolved, improving authorization interface up-time and reducing downtime penalties.

G4 Web-based apps

Providing an “at-a-glance” view of the entire debit payment network, the G4 front-end intuitive navigational tools will enable every user to easily utilize the new system’s full capabilities, including: real-time system wide monitoring, automated job/task scheduling, and advanced card maintenance and transaction research and reporting.

In addition to streamlined operational efficiency, immediate and recognizable benefits to both the bank and its customers include an improved cardholder experience with enhanced fraud detection and prevention, stand-in processing, and many other new and additional features and options:

  • FraudBlock™ integrated, rules-based, real-time fraud detection and prevention system
  • Stand-in authorization using a positive balance file (PBF) and/or card limits when the host authorizing system is unavailable
  • Secure, single point of card maintenance entry
