Visa's V.me Digital Wallet Service Now Supported

Sarasota, FL: In accordance with Visa's October 2012 Business Enhancements, CSFi now offers V.me support to SWITCHWARE customers connected to the Visa Europe Authorization Service (VEAS).

V.me is Visa's new digital wallet providing a secure and streamlined method for making online e-commerce payments where V.me is accepted. Consumers can store one or more of their Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards in a V.me account. At the online checkout, the consumer can click on the V.me by Visa button and complete their checkout by entering their email address and password. All payment information is stored behind multiple layers of security and does not have to be re-entered or divulged during each checkout.

The business objective of the new V.me function is to support and enhance e-commerce in Europe by meeting the strategic needs of Visa Europe members when processing online payments. V.me is designed to offer both consumers and merchants a secure and convenient online payment experience.

SWITCHWARE's VisaNet interface and an online processing rule for ISO acquiring were enhanced to cater to the new data fields incorporated into the new VEAS message. The V.me authentication service is performed prior to the transaction authorization and provides protection to issuers against fraud.

Guaranty Bond Bank opts for EZswitch Server Virtualization, Remote Standalone Secondary (RSS) and Bronze 24-Hour support.

Mount Pleasant, TX: Guaranty Bond Bank has opted to implement new EZswitch virtual production and disaster recovery servers when they convert to their new ATM/EFT network provider (Fiserv EFT) in late August. At the same time, the bank will implement a Remote Standalone Secondary solution for replicating data from their production system to their disaster recovery center. Bronze 24-hour support will be utilized during the itme of the Fiserv EFT conversion.

Baiduri Bank to implement EMV and Database Encryption solutions

Brunei: Baiduri Bank has agreed to proceed with multiple SWITCHWARE projects. The first project will include upgrading their SWITCHWARE software to support EMV acquiring from their NCR and Diebold ATMs. EMV support will also be added to their SEMA (Singapore) network interface to manage foreign EMV ATM card authorizations. A second project is to implement IBM's InfoSphere Guardium Encryption Expert solution supporting database level encryption and protecting sensitive customer data in accordance with today's PCI DSS standards. The incorporation of database level encryption will also bring SWITCHWARE to PA-DSS validation standards.

Bank of Clarke County agrees to EZswitch 2012 upgrade

Berryville, VA: Bank of Clarke County has agreed to upgrade to EZswitch® 2012 to support their growing ATM/debit on-line interface needs. Bank of Clarke County is a $589 million dollar Virginia-based community bank with 12 branches. The bank uses the Fiserv EFT network to drive their 13 ATMs and EZswitch to provide a real-time online interface to their Fiserv Precision core banking system for immediate update to the account balances.
